About ÖBVZ

The Federal Association for Circus Pedagogy „Österreichischer Bundesverband für Zirkuspädagogik - ÖBVZ“ is a network of circus schools, regional associations and circus teachers. It was founded in 2012 in Vienna and currently has 16 members in 6 of the 9 federal states of Austria.

The purpose of the association is:

• to promote circus educational theories

• to support the pedagogical work of circus schools and teachers

• to offer a place for networking

• to develop common projects

• to advocate circus as an independent art form
  

The Federal Association for Circus Pedagogy „ÖBVZ“ is composed of a board of directors and of an educational committee. Both instances are elected at the general annual assembly.
